There’s no doubt that the biggest story of the Redskins offseason is quarterback Robert Griffin III’s recovery from knee surgery after his injury against the Seahawks in the playoffs in January.
Griffin did some sprinting and running last week, the latest milestone in his comeback that was passed without incident for a player who has vowed to do everything in his power to return in time for the first game of the 2013 season. Rich Tandler of CSN Washington will join Mike Florio on Monday’s PFT Live to talk about the pace of Griffin’s comeback and the expectations it has created inside the Redskins organization.
Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle will also be on the program to talk about the Raiders with a particular focus on the team’s decision to fire public relations chief Zak Gilbert. Team owner Mark Davis was allegedly upset by the tone of a Sports Illustrated profile, which led to Gilbert’s dismissal and fairly strong condemnation from around the football world. We’ll hear Tafur’s thoughts on that and other issues of interest to the Raiders at this point in the offseason.
You can watch it all live at noon ET.
