Guard Jonathan Cooper is the only member of the Cardinals’ 2013 draft class that hasn’t signed a contract.

The Cardinals announced Tuesday that linebacker Alex Okafor and guard Earl Watford have both agreed to deals with the team. The two fourth-round picks are the seventh and eighth Cardinals to sign so far this spring, leaving only the first-round pick in need of his deal before the Cardinals can stick a pin in that section of their to-do list.

Okafor had 22 sacks during his career at Texas, suggesting an ability to rush the passer that would serve him well in a battle for playing time with O’Brien Schofield and Sam Acho, a former college teammate, on the edge. Acho and Schofield combined for eight sacks last season.

Watford had a strong career at James Madison, although he’ll face a significant step up in competition from the FCS school at the NFL level. Cooper is pencilled into one starting guard spot and Daryn Colledge is a likely choice at the other one, which leaves Watford looking at a depth role in his rookie year that include some opportunities at center if the Cardinals staff thinks he has potential in the middle of the line.
