PFT Live: Cap issues could push Graham out of New Orleans

Mike Florio talks with Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune about the lack of communication between the Saints front office and Jimmy Graham about a new contract. The Saints are already over the salary cap, so they’re in a tough spot to figure out how to give him the top dollar contract he’s earned.

Because greedy Drew Brees had to squeeze the Saints for every last nickel, you knew this was going to start happening.

Cut the weak links on defense like Smith who will never be an OLB, Vilma who will struggle in a 3-4
just like he did with the Jets, and whoever turns out to be the weak link at safety and more than likely that will be Harper. Then try to restructure some guys like Drew, Brodrick Bunkley (who I’d prefer to cut as well), Mark Ingram (who should have been traded instead 0f Ivory), and Jabari Greer (who’s been struggling with injuries.

Savage Lizard obviously supports a team that pays it’s QB peanuts or close to it. Quoting an age old saying, “If you pay peanuts, you’re only going to get a monkey”. And has he forgotten that Drew is not the highest paid QB. Does the name Flacco ring any bells.
