Our Mt. Rushmore series heads to the NFC South on Wednesday as the franchise-defining faces of the Panthers and Saints are unveiled during Pro Football Talk on NBCSN.
Taking part in the discussion will be former Saints quarterback Archie Manning, who will share his memories of the bad old days when he was running for his life in an attempt to lead some poor Saints teams to points. We can’t tell you whether or not Manning earned a spot on the franchise’s Mt. Rushmore, but he’s got a solid grip on his spot on the Manning Family version of the landmark.
Erik Kuselias, Mike Florio, Ross Tucker and Shaun King will all be on hand to talk about the selections for both teams along with all the rest of the news from around the league on Wednesday. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s knee surgery is high on that list and Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette will fill us in with the latest from Pittsburgh.
