PFT on NBCSN: Derrick Brooks, Tony Dungy, Bucs/Falcons Mt. Rushmores

There’s going to be a real Tampa feel to Thursday’s edition of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN.

We’ll be announcing the faces that will make up the Buccaneers’ version of Mt. Rushmore and two former members of the organization will be on the program to talk about it. Both Derrick Brooks and Tony Dungy made the list of 12 finalists as faces of the franchise and both of them will join the program to share their thoughts about the most important men in the history of the franchise.

All that Tampa talk won’t get in the way of a healthy discussion about the which four members of the Falcons are worthy of inclusion. Erik Kuselias, Mike Florio and Shaun King (yep, another former Buccaneer) will talk about both the NFC South entries over the course of the hour.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

  1. Obviously Lee Roy Selmon, next I think John McKay, he’s still the longest tenured Buc’s coach. Rich McKay deserves some consideration, six of his ten years they went to the playoffs but does a GM get consideration? Then it get’s tougher but Brooks I’d say is most deserving.

    Lee Roy Selmon
    John McKay
    Derrick Brooks
    Warren Sapp

  2. As a life long Falcons fan, I’d like to slap the grits out of the mouths of whoever voted for Jamaal Anderson. He was such a fluke.

  3. SELMON,sapp, brooks, and anybody but alstot, what did he have 3,500 career rush. yds? give me a break. he’s more deserving than gruber, barber, and dungy? i think not. you wanna here a train whistle, go blow one yerself, idiots.

  4. Selmon
    McKay, John

Ronde, Alstott and Gruden….Ring of Honor YES but not MT Rushmore…There is Elite and then there is Mt Rushmore….
