The Cleveland Browns made some change to their defensive backfield on Thursday.
The team announced they have signed cornerback Vernon Kearney and released safety Prince Miller.
Kearney had participated in the team’s mini-camp this week as a tryout player. He originally signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent but was released by the team on May 30. Kearney was originally a receiver at Lane College before transitioning to defensive back.
Miller appeared in two games for the Browns last season serving only on special teams.
