Hakeem Nicks is in the building for Giants minicamp

The Giants will have one of their starting wideouts with them today when they take the field for mandatory minicamp.

Giants punter Steve Weatherford just tweeted out a photo of wide receiver Hakeem Nicks sitting in the locker room, providing visual confirmation (and using three exclamation marks to convey his glee).

It makes sense that Nicks would show, rather than risk $66,150 in fines if he skipped the three-day event.

Whether he does anything remains to be seen, as he’s coming off a knee scope and might have been limited anyway.

A mediocre receiver who is injured most of the time and couldn’t start on a team with a good offense reports to mandatory practices and his teammates are giddy. That’s to be expected from a low class, second rate team like the Giants.

I think you accidently used a picture of Stephen A Smith for the article. Oh, wait…

The Giants 10-year dominance over the Redskins has really gotten to them.

Mediocre? You’ve got a real eye for talent. Who do u have to defend him? Who r ur receivers? 2d rate team? I’ll take my 2d rate team and its rings any day. Must kill you that this substandard team keeps shoving the Lombardy in ur mug.

Someone please “Erin Andrews” the meeting room when Coughling and Nicks have their chat. That’s gonna be grade-A television.
