The Saints continue to add parts to a remade defense, bringing in journeyman cornerback Chris Carr.
According to Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Carr signed a one-year deal.
Carr was with the Chargers last year, but has spent eight years in the league, bouncing through stints with the Raiders, Ravens, and Titans as well.
Part of his time in Oakland coincided with defensive coordinator Rob Ryan’s stint there, which gives him the familiarity which so many of the Saints acquisitions have had in common.
When you’re trying to improve the league’s worst defense of all time, every little bit helps.
