The Jacksonville Jaguars are dealing with a second player to require groin surgery in as many weeks.

After defensive end Jason Babin required surgery to repair an injury groin last week, tight end Brett Brackett decided to have surgery as well after seeking a second opinion. According to the Associated Press, Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley expects Brackett to be ready in time for the start of training camp on July 26.

Brackett was claimed off waivers from Philadelphia last season but injured his knee and landed on injured reserve in Jacksonville. He has yet to appear in a regular season game and is competing for a roster spot with the Jaguars.
