The St. Louis Rams signed former Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints guard Ryan Lee on Wednesday.

To make room on the roster, the Rams released undrafted rookie wide receiver Scott Pillar.

Lee signed as an undrafted free agent out of Furman last year with the Steelers and landed on their practice squad to begin the season. Lee was claimed off waivers by the Saints before landing on injured reserve due to hernia surgery.

Pillar had made some impressive catches at times during Rams offseason workouts but it apparently wasn’t enough to keep him around.
