PFT on NBCSN: Steve Largent, Cardinals/Seahawks Mt. Rushmores

Larry Fitzgerald AP

We unveiled the members of the Rams Mt. Rushmore on Thursday’s edition of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN, but Friday’s show will feature some other players near and dear to the hearts of St. Louis football fans.

It’s time for the Cardinals Mt. Rushmore to be unveiled and there’s a chance that some of the members will be from the years that the Cardinals called St. Louis home. Jim Hart, Dan Dierdorf and Larry Wilson all have pretty good cases to make for inclusion, although there are plenty of fine candidates from the Arizona era as well. If enough people vote for Ken Gray, there might even be some Chicago Cardinals representation.

You’ll find out the names of the Cardinals as well as those of the Seahawks during the program. Seahawks legend Steve Largent will be on hand to share some more of his thoughts about the most meaningful names in Seahawks history and, as always, we’ll make sure you’re caught up on all the news you need to know from around the league.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

Largent? Ugh. Will he be speaking about his very average nfl career or his incredibly below average Congressional career?

Steve Largent makes the Seattle Mt. Rushmore for sure.

The other three should be Warren Moon, Jerry Rice, and Terrell Owens.

The Seahawks Mt Rushmore is easy, it should be Largent, Walter Jones, Cortez Kennedy and Kenny Easley. 3 HOF’ers (W Jones entering soon) and Easley was a stud.

So average that it got him in the hall of fame. You prob should think before you type

You can’t go wrong with Largent, Tez, Big Walt, and #45.

Kinda of sad that there’s no Cardinal comments in here. Almost as sad as the pathetic life of Skippynj.

You mean the guy who held just about every receiving record there was, including receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns by the time he retired until a guy named Jerry Rice came along and broke them all? Yeah, such an average NFL career.

Why would I expect anything better than someone named Skippy
