On Tuesday afternoon, we’ll be continuing our series on Mt. Rushmores with the franchise that calls Houston home as well as the one that used to call Houston home.
We’ll be unveiling the faces of the franchise for both the Texans and Titans on NBCSN, but PFT Live offers an hour to discuss the options for each organization with guys who spend their lives covering the teams. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle will handle things on the Texans side, which shouldn’t be too tough since they’ve only been around for 11 years and have only been good for the last couple of them. The voting remains open, so let us know what you think.
Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean will handle things on the Titans’ side of the field, although all 12 of the finalists for induction once played or worked for a team by a different name. The Oilers should be well represented on Mt. Rushmore as even Eddie George and Steve McNair got their starts before the nickname flipped over to Titans. Wyatt will tell us his choices and, perhaps, give us an idea when we might see a Titans-only player make a bid for inclusion.
