The Seattle Seahawks announced a handful of changes to their scouting staff on Thursday.

The team has promoted Tag Ribary to director of team operations, Trent Kirchner to director of pro personnel, Dan Morgan to assistant director of pro personnel and Josh Graff to national scout. In addition, the team hired former Kansas City Chiefs scout Jim Nagy to serve as the team’s southeast area scout.

Nagy is replacing Derrick Jensen, who is retiring from the Seahawks after serving for 22 years in the team’s scouting department. He joins the Seahawks front office after a seven-year career as a fullback with the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders. Jensen was diagnosed with ALS in 2011. The Seahawks allowed Jensen to make the final two picks of their draft in April on his 57th birthday. The team gave him a small group of players to choose from and Jensen made the picks of New Hampshire G Jared Smith and Northeastern State T Michael Bowie to conclude the team’s draft.

Ribary has spent 16 years working with Seattle with stops with the Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers as well. He spent his first 11 years working for the Seahawks before leaving for a job with the Redskins in 2001. He returned to the team as a pro scout in 2009 and was elevated to director of pro personnel in 2010.

Kirchner has been the Seahawks’ assistant director of player personnel the last three years. Morgan has served as a pro scout for Seattle the last two years after a seven-year career as a linebacker for the Carolina Panthers. Graff has worked as an intern for the Seahawks’ scouting staff the last two seasons.

  1. We’re going to do to this league what Godzilla does to Tokyo. No amount of whining from the rest of you will stop us.

  2. Being the first guy on every forum telling some bad joke everybody else can see where the joke is really pointing. Seattle scouting department has been top notch and that was expected when we got Pete Carroll and his staff. Pair him with JS and you get Pro Bowlers and All Pro’s in Rounds 1-5 for 3 years. Seattle was built through the draft and will be a force for years to come. Don’t believe me look at the average age of our roster..Go Hawks

  3. Ironic the guy with the name “thesteelers” brings up PED’s when his QB is a rapist and their team literally paid to win a Super Bowl.

You see folks, what we have here is a typical Seahawk fan. Delusional, arrogant, and extremely annoying. The team this turd is a fan of has never won anything significant and didn’t even win their division last year after a win was given to them. Oh the team cheats and still cant win. Absolutely pathetic.

  5. How did the team cheat? When you whine like this, you only show your insecurity. Man up, let people be happy, who want to be happy.
