Blame it on the Super Moon.

Whatever the real cause, the unruly behavior on Saturday night wasn’t confined to the eastern portion of Pennsylvania. A far bigger brawl broke out at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh than the fight at LeSean McCoy’s charity softball game.

According to KDKA in Pittsburgh, at least 10 fights were started in and around the place where the Steelers play, and a total of 73 people were arrested. Forty-nine happened inside the stadium, 24 outside.

Photos show that the parking lot was a mess in the wake of the Chesney concert. “It smells horrible, you can smell the beer and the urine,” Harletta Walker of Ross Township told KDKA. “They cleaned up the trash, but they should have run the street sweeper through here, it’s horrible.”

It’s unknown whether the mob caused any damage to the Heinz Field turf. In 2011, the crowd at a Chesney concert did minor damage at Lambeau Field. Last year’s Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw show has been blamed as contributing to bad late-season conditions at FedEx Field.

Chesney’s tour continues through the summer; the only remaining date on a grass NFL field comes next month in Denver. If Chesney’s show messes up the playing surface there, he’ll have to answer to his pal Peyton Manning.
