Lions release Brian Robiskie again

Brian Robiskie AP

The Lions needed a roster spot when they signed veteran safety Chris Hope earlier this afternoon, so they found someone with experience.

The Lions released wide receiver Brian Robiskie for the second time this offseason to clear the spot, via Anwar Richardson of MLive.com.

Robiskie was cut and re-signed earlier this offseason in a cap move, but the likelihood of his making the roster was slim regardless his salary.

He never really got a chance to show why he was drafted in the 2nd rd and 36th overall. Hope he catches on somewhere. Go Buckeyes!!!!!
