There will never be enough Raiders in either the Hall of Fame or Mt. Rushmore. There is no other team that is still the team of the decades and at one point in their long heritage of games won they had the highest winning per centage of any sports team so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

A strong argument could be made for Mr. Tom Flores. I know he is not as well known to some, even though he won two Superbowl rings with the Raiders. I also like the Howie pick.

I still think there is a lot to be learned from Madden’s coaching philosophy: that the players are like the greatest artists in the world at what they do, so why limit their creativity with a bunch of rules that curbs their creativity? The Raiders, at least, need to get back to that.

For me, no player typified the Raider mentality more than Ken Stabler. Also, the Mad Stork won two Super Bowls with the team, and would ride into practice on a horse wearing a Prussian battle helmet – that’s a RAIDER!
