When center Jeff Saturday retired this offseason, he took a role with the Colts’ community relations and marketing department but that’s not the only plan he has for his post-playing days.

As many speculated when Saturday hung up the cleats, television is in the future. Saturday always came across well during interviews and was particularly impressive while playing a lead role as a spokesman of sorts for the players during the 2011 lockout, which makes it little surprise to learn that he’s signed with mega-agency IMG to represent him in the search for broadcasting gigs.

Saturday will be represented by Sandy Montag, who represents Bob Costas and John Madden among other luminaries, and the veteran agent believes Saturday brings a strong combination of on-field experience and on-air personality to the table.

“It’s kind of rare that a former center would have that kind of personality,” Montag said, via the Indianapolis Business Journal.

He may be retired, but we’d expect to keep seeing and/or hearing from Saturday on Sundays all the same.
