The Cowboys have tried to support defensive tackle Josh Brent after he was charged with intoxication manslaughter for a drunken car crash that killed a teammate.
But Brent is making it harder and harder to justify that support.
According to NBC 5 in Dallas, Brent is back behind bars, after failing a second test for marijuana.
Brent reportedly tested positive earlier this month as well, while he’s out on bond awaiting trial for the death of teammate Jerry Brown.
But at a time when the Patriots immediately released Aaron Hernandez and the Browns washed their hands of Ausur Walcott immediately after charges were filed, the Cowboys’ decision looks more and more unusual, and their faith poorly placed.
