The fog of mystery surrounding the involvement, if any, of Carlos Ortiz in the events surrounding the death of Odin Lloyd gradually is lifting.
According to FOX 25 in Boston, Ortiz has admitted to possessing a firearm in North Attleboro, Massachusetts on June 17, 2013. While Ortiz apparently has not admitted to using that gun to shoot Lloyd, it’s possible that Ortiz has identified the person or persons who did.
Ortiz, per the report, was arrested at the Bristol, Connecticut home of Hernandez’s uncle, a location authorities recently searched.
With bail set at $1.5 million for Ortiz, there’s a chance that prosecutors believe he did something far worse than allegedly possessing a gun in the town where Lloyd was killed on the morning of the shooting.
