The Vikings finally announced the acquisition of linebacker Desmond Bishop, and they might have ended the comeback attempt of another linebacker in the process.
Via Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPN.com, the Vikings released linebacker Stanford Keglar to make room for Bishop on the roster.
Keglar was signed in May, after not playing a snap in the NFL since 2010. He had spent some time playing in the UFL, though he only received about a fourth of the money he was owed.
Since he said then he was giving the NFL one more shot, it could mean the end of the line for Keglar.
