Huge crowd mourns Odin Lloyd

300x

A crowd numbering the hundreds turned out Saturday for the funeral of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. The semi-pro football player allegedly was killed by former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on June 17 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

The church couldn’t hold all mourners, which included members of the Boston Bandits, who wore their jerseys and chanted Lloyd’s name as his casket was placed inside the hearse.

Hernandez remains jailed without bail, and two other men -- Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace -- have been arrested in connection with Lloyd’s death.

The Boston Globe has reported that police believe Hernandez may have killed Lloyd because he had information tying Hernandez to an unsolved double murder that occurred in July 2012.
