Summer’s almost over, camp around the corner

Greg Schiano AP

The clock is now officially ticking, and we’re less than three weeks away from training camps opening.

The NFL just announced official start dates for training camps for all 32 teams, and the full list can be viewed here.

The Buccaneers will be the first ones to work, with rookies reporting July 17. The Colts and the Bills will be the last ones with full rosters in camp, as their veterans report on the 27th.

Sixteen teams are taking advantage of early rookie reporting dates, while the other half of the league will drag them in all at once.

Seems stupid to drag them in all at once. I will make note of which teams are most stupid right now. Culmination of all the facts is how I take it to the bank in the end.

Wouldn’t a better and more accurate title be “Summer’s just begun, but camp’s around the corner” ?
