Aaron Hernandez family member killed in car accident

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is arraigned in court in Attleborough, Massachusetts Reuters

A member of Aaron Hernandez’s family whom police wanted to question in connection with the ongoing murder investigation has died in a car accident.

The Hartford Courant reports that Thaddeus Singleton III, the son-in-law of Hernandez’s uncle, was killed when the car he was driving flew off the road and crashed into a pole. The car Singleton was driving was owned by Hernandez’s uncle. The death was ruled an accident.

It is unclear what police believed Singleton knew about the murder of Odin Lloyd, but the report says that police had been seeking to speak with him. Singleton had previously been convicted of multiple drug charges in Connecticut.

Singleton lived in Bristol, Connecticut, the hometown of Hernandez and both of the other men suspected of being involved in the murder of Lloyd.

This story has got red flashing lights and red flags popping up for me. The uncle owned the car. Could it possibly have been tampered with to prevent this guy from talking to the police?

  15. prideandpoise says: Jul 2, 2013 7:04 PM

Man everyday there is a new twist. They might want to consider putting the uncle in protective custody.

  16. dennisatunity says: Jul 2, 2013 7:05 PM

Can you imagine what Hernandez’ uncle and Singleton’s wife (the uncle’s daughter) are thinking right about now? If they were trying to protect Hernandez in any way before this accident, all that will be gone now. Even if Hernandez had nothing to do with this, who would believe it? You couldn’t make this stuff up.

    automobiles.

  20. juliusanonymous says: Jul 2, 2013 7:08 PM

Wow. That sounds like too much of a coincidence. Especially considering the cops wanted to talk to the victim about another victim who Hernandez killed to cover up another murder. Ugh.

  21. chb74 says: Jul 2, 2013 7:08 PM

I wonder how many other people in a position to incriminate Aaron Hernandez have met with similarly well-timed ‘accidents’ over the years..? I’m not usually a conspiracy theorist, but this is the kind of coincidence that makes you wonder. At least a tampered car would be more subtle than the usual ‘shoot guy in face’ technique AH and his “associates” generally employ. (ALLEGEDLY, that is…::)

I would be very afraid if I was in Aaron’s family or friend circle. Im not saying he had anything to do with the accident , but how bizarre and coincidental is they? You can’t make this stuff up. Unbelievable…..either Aaron has the kiss of death ability, or he is having the worst week any human being can have. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but I’m just saying….Police want to question said relative, and that relative’s car goes off the road ? Wow.

    Hernandez’s 2010 Psychological Profile

Shortly before the 2010 NFL Draft, a scouting service that prepares confidential psychological profiles of players for NFL teams found that Aaron Hernandez enjoyed “living on the edge of acceptable behavior” and cautioned that he could become “a problem” for his team.
On one personality test, Hernandez, who was arrested last week on murder and weapons charges, received the lowest possible score, 1 out of 10, in the category of “social maturity.”
The evaluation, which was done before the New England Patriots selected Hernandez in the fourth round of the 2010 draft, was produced by a North Carolina scouting service called Human Resource Tactics.
The one-page form, reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, includes scores Hernandez received on several tests routinely administered to NFL draft prospects. The results of these tests are kept confidential.
The Patriots declined to comment on whether they had seen the report before drafting Hernandez. Hernandez’s attorney, Michael Fee, didn’t return messages seeking comment.

This was an incredible car crash also. The car took out a section of telephone pole which flew thru the air. The car became air borne and went thru the side of the Farmington country locker room and didn’t stop until it was about 15 feet in and still 6 feet up. It busted the gas line and the had to cut plumbing pipes to get the car out.

A friend was on scene and said the drivers pants were down.
