A new video featuring Sanchez’s butt (fumble)

charlie-chaplin

There’s another Mark Sanchez butt video going around, but at least in this one, everyone has their pants on.

According to John Healy of the New York Daily News, someone has given the butt fumble the cinematic tribute it deserves.

It’s just a 30-second YouTube video called “An Unfortunate End,” but it is a solid piece of work.

The artistes in question turned it into a silent movie, stripping away the color, with Scott Joplin’s “The Entertainer” playing in the background, and some funnier-than-you’d expect title cards interspersed with the action.

Of course, the action is Sanchez running into guard Brandon Moore’s backside and fumbling the ball last year against the Patriots, and we’ve seen that plenty of times.

But this was fresh enough to watch. Twice already. And possibly more, it’s early yet.

I still watch the original, big Hollywood remakes sometimes lose the subtle nuances and detail and… wait… I’m getting to the part where he jams his head into that other guys a… oh there it is… yup HD really brings it to life.

I’m absolutely amazed how hellbent the media are in destroying this guy’s confidence and career.
Sanchez is still a YOUNG player who was given credit for success way back in 2009 and 2010, when he had a good TEAM around him.
I saw Sanchez play a magnificent game against the Steelers in the 2010 AFC title game. He was the best quarterback on the field that day.

What about the rest of the movie where Vareen scores on a swing pass, Edelman picks off the kickoff fumble out of the air and score and Ninkovich scores on a pickoff all within about 5 minutes? I loved that movie. It was an ALL-TIME classic!

In one way, he has the same problem as his former teammate Tebow. He was drafted way way way too high for his demonstrated ability level (including both of them having had teams trade up into the first/in the first to get them)so expectations were too high. Sanchez has the added issue of having been given some extra cash in an extension after not having such a hot season so that makes it worse on him.

I think the only thing that’s really been his fault in his whole tenure with the NYJ is that he’s just a bit immature. He’s always been a good teammate and never badmouths anyone.

If he’d had a solid team around him most of his tenure, and a good offensive coach (like Payton or McCarthy for example) he could probably max out as a capable starter who can have flashes of excellence.

The Jets need to “butt” out of these “crack” scenarios before they get too far in a”rears”.

Sanchez sure is the face of the franchise now that he has branded this new theme for the team. He’s a true ass-man or “Butt-head”, maybe one day he’ll get to play alongside Beavis in the live-action movie.

I think Belichick should comment at some point about all of the “fannies” that the Jets have. That would be the new term for a fan of the ass-themed team. As long as the Jets open themselves up to embarrassment, I say drown them with it and let them have exactly what they deserve.

Oh and again for the 234th time, I think Sanchez would be a weak value for a high draft pick and you should trade down instead. Just to reiterate again what the proper football decision move would have been. It’s not too late for somebody else to learn from this colossal mistake over many years ago that is still being compounded further today.

And this is why I own a Mangold jersey and wear it proudly

Not a fan nor rival of the Jets, but I have to say the fascination with this play is just stupid. It’s not actually all that funny. In fact it’s not at all funny, it’s just a play. It’s just evidence there needs to be some major revamping of NFL network’,s morning show, who are probably single-handedly keeping something pretty stupid going.

This joke was funny for the first week and this is coming from a NY Jets fan. All ESPN has done for the past month have kicked this guy while he’s down and this guy is just piling on. This kind of stuff makes me root for Sanchez in hopes that he puts together a good season this year so we can see all the blank looks on all the ESPN anchors by december.

    give it a rest.
