Ernest Wallace was arraigned on Monday, charged with being an accessory after the fact to the murder of Odin Lloyd.

The arraignment happened quickly, with Wallace ordered to be held without bail pending a July 22 pre-trial hearing.

The Wallace hearing contrasts dramatically with the arraignment of Aaron Hernandez, during which prosecutors outlined extensive and detailed facts regarding the contention that Hernandez orchestrated Lloyd’s killing.

A grand jury also is investigating the situation. The inherently secretive proceedings likely will result in the issuance of indictments, eventually.
