Jaguars No. 30 in PFT preseason power rankings

Jaguars Joeckel Football AP

The teams hanging out at the bottom of our PFT preseason power rankings are bad, and will likely be bad for some time to come.

But of the group, the Jaguars have probably embraced the notion of a clean slate as much as any of them (new front office, new coach, even new uniforms), which at least sets the stage for the possibility of improvement.

Coming in the 30th spot in our poll reflects the amount of work they have to do. They’re not going to be able to make all the improvement they need in one offseason, but they’re busy working to put their middling past behind them.

You can read the full preview here, and then let us know whether you think we’ve overvalued them or undervalued them in the poll below.

I can see better than the Chiefs, but that’s it.

Jags are ranked higher than the Browns… that’s funny!

Against all common sense, I’d have to say the Browns don’t deserve to be in the bottom four. The Jags, however, really do. It works out well for them that they are going to be the worst team in the league with the Jadvon Clowney pick being this year’s booby prize, though.

No freaking way they’re better than the Chiefs. The Chiefs actually have loads of talent, they finally have a decent head coach. They won’t be a playoff team but I could see them being around 8-8 or 7-9.

Jags are dead last in Vegas. Stop being such optimists.
