The teams hanging out at the bottom of our PFT preseason power rankings are bad, and will likely be bad for some time to come.

But of the group, the Jaguars have probably embraced the notion of a clean slate as much as any of them (new front office, new coach, even new uniforms), which at least sets the stage for the possibility of improvement.

Coming in the 30th spot in our poll reflects the amount of work they have to do. They’re not going to be able to make all the improvement they need in one offseason, but they’re busy working to put their middling past behind them.
