The documents released Tuesday regarding the various searches conducted in connection with the murder of Odin Lloyd reveals that the thorough, methodical process included a search of the contents of Aaron Hernandez’s locker at Gillette Stadium.

Because Hernandez had visited the facility following the death of Odin Lloyd, police were looking for any evidence Hernandez may have left behind, including firearms, ammunition, or information that would shed light on the relationship between Hernandez and Lloyd.

The search warrant was executed on Thursday, June 27, one day after Hernandez had been released by the Patriots. As a result, the contents of the locker had been transferred to a locked container by the Patriots.

Authorities searches the contents of the container, and they found no evidence.
