Broncos lineman Quentin Saulsberry was arrested for DUI in May

The Broncos are meeting on Monday to discuss how to handle the DUI arrests of team executives Tom Heckert and Matt Russell, but they had to take time out to issue a statement about another arrest of a member of the organization.

The Denver Post learned through a search of state records that offensive lineman Quentin Saulsberry was arrested on May 19 in Arapahoe County, Colorado on suspicion of drunken driving. He’s scheduled to be in court on August 19 and has also been charged with a lane change violation.

“We have been aware of Quentin Saulsberry’s arrest and will continue to monitor the legal developments related to this matter, which is subject to review under the NFL’s policies,” Broncos spokesperson Patrick Smyth said Monday.

Saulsberry signed with the team as an undrafted free agent last year and spent the season on the practice squad, except for the four weeks he was suspended for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy. The arrest won’t do much to enhance Saulsberry’s chances of making the team nor will it do much to help the black eye the organization got from the two other arrests this offseason.

With the legalization of the green sticky stuff in CO, I can only wonder if these are alcohol related????

On a positive note, when he gets cut I hear the Pats are looking to sign some players.

    I don’t get it.

Bud is legal in Colorado, and they’re all getting busted for DUI?

To each their own, I guess.

So as we peel back the onion, it’ll Decker in April, Hillman in March, Manning in February and Elway on New Years Day.

A Toast! To almost making it to the AFCCG!

The Patriots can take all the drunken, undrafted Free Agents they like. I would be a happy Broncos fan.

The next headline I want to read about the Donkeys is MegaHead getting arrested for DUI…that would be awesome!

A “free beer” sign outside Broncos headquarters must be hard to pass by!!

The Circus Train just left New England headed for the Rockys.

It will be traveling thru NY, so I would advise the members of the Jets to keep quiet for 24 hrs.

    WOO WOO

“How did you learn to do this?”

“I learned it by watching you!”

It doesn’t say he was under the influence of alcohol.

If i was a fringe player like this guy is, i will do all my best to stay out of the limelight off the field beyond charitable causes or what not, and i will bust my rear on the field to make my mark to stay on the team. However, when you have a peanut for a brain does it suprise anyone?

Clearly a case of profiling. Perhaps it’s time to admit that the Broncos’ scouting department has done perhaps too good profiling the Denver bar scene.

    Urban Meyer your fault again.

    Quentin who? Exactly….

Cut his ass and move on.

On a side note, just because the green sticky stuff is legal in Colorado doesn’t mean it’s OK for Broncos players to use; it still voilates the league’s substance abuse policy.

These guys must have a direct pipeline running from the Coors brewery to whatever the hell the stadium is called now.

I’ll guarantee to you this wouldn’t be an article if it wasn’t for Russell and Heckert. Anything to do in order to make the Broncos look bad I suppose, Saulsberry is only competing for a practice squad position….

I heard Saulsberry was pulled over by a steak trooper.

    Broncos are a joke

  20. joetoronto says: Jul 16, 2013 4:59 AM

What do you expect from an organization where the top dog is a drunk?

Barring Adam Jones, I am thankful this had been a wonderfully silent year from my Bengals! Thanks Broncs and Pats!
