The Browns have signed seventh-round pick Armonty Bryant, the club said Friday.

Bryant’s NFL career did not get off on the right foot. He was arrested for DUI on May 3, six days after the Browns selected him No. 217 overall. He quickly pleaded no contest to the charges, and the Browns have kept him on the roster. If he is to make the Browns, it would figure to be as a reserve.

In an interview with the Cleveland Plain Dealer in June, Bryant said he was working to make healthier decisions, telling the paper he had stopped drinking.

Bryant, 23, notched 27.5 sacks in three seasons with East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

Pop open the champagne over at Browns headquarters…..After a long, hard fought deliberation, the Browns have inked their drunk driving seventh rounder.

You’d drink too if you worked hard all of your life, dreaming of playing in the NFL, only to be drafted by the Browns.

You mean their “drunk driving seventh rounder with a history of making pot deals in the school parking lot after practice”. #winning

Hahaha good thing we only used a 7th rounder on him morons.

And watch the Browns shut you up this year when they actually become a good competitive team.

Word out of Cleveland is that Barkevious Mingo has taken him under his wing. I hope to God thats the case and not the other way around.
