We have a (preseason) winner.

The Redskins, who check in at No. 11 in PFT’s Preseason Power Rankings, are the highest-rated NFC East team in our ratings. They are two spots head of the Giants, three spots in front of the Cowboys and 15 spots clear of the Eagles.

Three games below .500 with seven games left to play in 2012, the Redskins proceeded to run the table and win the East. Five of their wins were against division foes. If quarterback Robert Griffin III recovers well from offseason knee surgery, the Redskins will again be formidable -- and the onus will be on their division rivals to prove they can better cope with Washington’s offense than they did a season ago.
