Giants’ Will Hill suspended again

Giants safety Will Hill has now hit the daily double.

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, Hill has been suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league’s policy on substances of abuse.

In 2012, Hill was suspended four games for violating the performance enhancing substances policy, a suspension he (like many others) blamed on Adderall.

While a suspension under the PED policy comes automatically with one positive test, a suspension under the substance-abuse policy (which covers recreations substances like marijuana) contemplates multiple violations.

This suspension will cost him the first four regular season games. He’ll still be able to participate in training camp and preseason games.

With the departure of Kenny Phillips, the Giants were counting on Hill playing a larger role this season.

But now, they have to wonder if they can count on him at all.

Pete Carroll doesn’t think he did anything wrong.

I’m a giants fan but this is getting out of hand. Suspend them for a year with no pay. Maybe this will teach them to stop trying to get an edge.

Will Hill was suspended four games. The four game suspension is standard time served for a typical four game suspension, which again is four games.

    Stay classy, New Jersey.

At least we know that these guys will never be accused of abusing truth serum!

Here it goes, the Giants are the most classless team in the NFL. John Mara cheats, the Skins are the greatest team ever, HTTR.

Typical Giants. This team is dropping like a stone in a lake as far as prestige.

There is a lot of hate going out to the Giants…

Fact of the matter is, all teams in the NFL have their share of knuckleheads.

Some are just better at not getting caught.

Giants are the cream of the East. Off year last year. They will be back this season. One guy doesn’t break a team.

Just FYI the beloved Giants now have more PED violations over the past few seasons than the Seahawks, just for everyone who likes to act as if the Seahawks are far and away the biggest violators here. Try facts.

Proves once again how the mighty have fallen. Sooner or later the truth comes out for the whole world to see. A team of cheaters and malcontents.

But representing New York, actually New Jersey, the press hides a lot of the shameful activities that goes on and sing their praises to make them seem more respectable than they really are.

Why can’t these young guys play with their God given talents and stop trying to medically enhance their performance on the field?

Um….OK. I’ll say it if no else will. If he’s already been suspended once for four games, why would his second suspension also be for four games?

Shouldn’t there be some form of escalator involved?

Oh, and a side note to all of the people who roll their eyes at these guys blaming their positive tests on Adderall.

Do a little experiment and pop an adderall one day. You will never again doubt that these guys are taking them on game day.

    Just trust me.

Cut him. Not surprised that yet another one of Urban Meyer’s henchman gets into trouble again.

Goddell will probably take away 32 million dollars of CAP space from the Redskins and Cowboys for this.

Better to have been mighty and fallen than to never have been mighty.

So the first of Jerry’s hopes of reclaiming a once very promising player goes down in flames. Who’ll be next?

    Aaron Curry?

Giants have depth at safety. Hill will regret getting suspended.

How many former Meyer Gators have been suspended by the NFL for violating the drug policy?

Hill, Spikes, Cunningham, Joe Haden…who else or who is next?

  22. excessivedrinking says: Jul 20, 2013 10:44 PM

Rolle, Brown, Mundy, Taylor, and Sash. Hill will be cut.

Hill is as good as cut. It’s unfortunate because he had a chance to help this year
