Though Cowboys defensive tackle Jay Ratliff sustained a hamstring injury at the outset of training camp, club director of player personnel Stephen Jones indicated Ratliff’s health is not a major worry, the club’s website reported Sunday.

“He finished the conditioning test, so he’s working through some things, and we’ll handle that. We’re not concerned,” Jones said Sunday, per DallasCowboys.com.

Ratliff is slated to undergo an MRI on his injured hamstring, head coach Jason Garrett said Sunday, per the team website.

The 31-year-old Ratliff was limited to just six regular-season games in 2012 due to ankle and groin injuries after not missing a game from 2008 through 2011. He’s slated to start opposite of Jason Hatcher in the club’s new 4-3 scheme.
