The Ravens placed wide receiver Jacoby Jones on the active / non-football injury list on Monday, according to the NFL’s transaction log.
Jones, 29, comes off a postseason to remember. In the Ravens’ win vs. the 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII, he returned a kickoff 108 yards for a touchdown and hauled a 56-yard score, too. He also caught the game-tying TD in the Ravens’ double-overtime victory at Denver in the divisional round. With Anquan Boldin now with San Francisco, Jones has a chance to earn a starting role on offense in 2013.
Earlier Monday, the Ravens disclosed that rookie defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore had been placed on active-NFI, with veteran right guard Marshal Yanda and inside linebacker Jameel McClain placed on the active / physically unable to perform list.
UPDATE 6:41 p.m. ET: According to Albert Breer of NFL Network, Jones did not pass his conditioning test.
