The Raiders took a step closer to signing up their entire draft class Tuesday with the signing of quarterback Tyler Wilson.

Wilson was selected in the fourth round with the 112th overall pick after a career at Arkansas that saw him throw 52 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. Like several other quarterbacks drafted this year, Wilson was considered a first-round pick at points during college before being selected several rounds later.

During spring practices, buzz on Wilson from beat writers watching the Raiders practice was strong and some opined that he could wind up starting games for the Raiders in 2013. There’s been less chatter on that front of late as the Raiders seem likely to see what Matt Flynn brings to the table, but Wilson could wind up moving in front of Terrelle Pryor on the team’s depth chart if things break his way in training camp.

The Raiders have now signed eight of their 10 picks from April. Their first two picks -- first-round cornerback D.J. Hayden and second-round tackle Menelik Watson -- remain unsigned.
