Broncos reach deal with Sylvester Williams

Sylvester Williams AP

And then there were four.

The Broncos just announced that first-round defensive tackle Sylvester Williams had signed his rookie deal, tweeting out the obligatory picture as well.

That leaves Chiefs tackle Eric Fisher (first overall), Cardinals guard Jonathan Cooper (seventh), Jets cornerback Dee Milliner (ninth) and Titans guard Chance Warmack (10th) without deals in the first round.

Williams signed his deal moments after the Broncos finished their first practice, so technically, you could call him a holdout. But until the pads go on, he hasn’t missed very much.

Biggest fan of Elway (the player and GM) as anybody.

But its this pick that NEEDS to be the right one.

Hopefully Sylvester is a dominant force.
