Deion Sanders getting a series on Oprah’s network

We’re going to be seeing a lot more of Deion Sanders.  But not on NFL Network.

According to Deadline.com, Oprah Winfrey Network has “ordered a new docu-series about ‘the crazy and chaotic family life‘ of former NFL star Deion Sanders.”  The show, called It’s Prime Time, is scheduled to debut in 2014.

NFL fans got a glimpse into the craziness and chaos last year, when Deion Sanders and his wife went through an ugly divorce, featuring all sorts of arrests and allegations.

It’s unknown whether and to what extent Leon Sandcastle will be making any appearances as the zany next-door neighbor who slides his shoes on the wooden floor when he throws the door open and enters the room.

Stop all reality shows. More Seinfeld and Lost. Less housewives, red neck and Italians.

We’re going to see a lot more of Deion Sanders? We? What? You have a mouse in your pocket? You can count me among the missing. I have no interest in watching more garbage than I already do.
If he happens to show up on “Naked and Afraid,” I might accidently catch a glimpse of him.

Yet another reality show I’ll never watch. Watching paint dry sounds more appealing.

Hopefully he won’t have time for the NFL Network anymore.

This is awesome because I was JUST thinking “I wonder if there will ever be any reason for me to start watching the Oprah Network”. Looks like it’s still a big “Nope.”

I already avoid watching Deion as well as the Oprah Winfrey Network. Putting them together will not change my perspective.

Maybe if we each agree to pitch in a buck we can convince the most overrated player in the history of the NFL to just fade away into obscurity never to be heard from again.

OMG, Oprah let that channel go all to hell, is she ever losing an awful lot of money, what was she thinking? Now with a no class Deion she can lose even more money. Deion deserves himself!

  15. bestwriteralive says: Jul 25, 2013 6:19 PM

Will it be immediately followed by “Growing Up Gronk”?
