Pugh gets 95.4 percent guarantee

Pugh

Giants offensive lineman Justin Pugh didn’t get a fully-guaranteed rookie deal. But he got the next best thing, with 95.4 percent of the contract guaranteed for skill, injury, and salary cap.

Per a source with knowledge of the details, Pugh has a non-guaranteed 2016 roster bonus of $385,770, due early in the league year. The rest of the contract is fully guaranteed.

That’s a higher percentage than was received by last year’s 19th overall pick, Bears linebacker Shea McClellin. McClellin has a $741,227 non-guaranteed roster bonus in 2015, which makes his deal 91 percent guaranteed.
