PFT on NBCSN: Mike Smith, AFC/NFC South offseason snapshot

Any list of favorites for the 2013 NFL season includes the Falcons somewhere near the top of the list.

It’s nice for a coach to have a team like that in his locker, but Mike Smith also has to deal with the consequences should the Falcons fail to live up to the expectations. Smith will join Pro Football Talk on NBCSN to help us wrap up the week by telling us how it feels to be the man on the spot in Atlanta. Smith’s stint with the Falcons has been the most successful in franchise history, but it hasn’t included a trip to the Super Bowl and we’ll ask Smith what the Falcons need to do to change that.

The Falcons will also be part of our offseason snapshot of the NFC South as we wrap up our series recapping everything that happened on the way to training camp. The teams from the AFC South will be up for discussion as well over the course of the hour.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Not sure about the playoff’s but they will not I repeat will not win the NFC South this year! With the Saints being back to full strength it’s our division to loose on our own! Honestly now that I think about it not showing favoritism to my team I really think all 4 teams have a shot of taking the South! I think we have one of the toughest and talented divisions in the NFL! Agree to Disagree?
