Ryan Miller has concussion, will likely be out of hospital tonight

Miller

There’s good news in Cleveland after a scary incident at training camp practice.

Offensive lineman Ryan Miller, who was taken from the field by ambulance, has a concussion, the team announced on Saturday night. While concussions are significant injuries (even if “mild”), news of the incident prompted concerns that Miller may have suffered a serious neck injury.

According to the Browns, Miller is resting comfortably at the hospital and likely will be released tonight.

Under league protocol, Miller will be unable to practice or play in any preseason or regular-season games until he has been cleared by an independent neurologist.

UPDATE 8:49 p.m. ET: The Browns have advised PFT that Miller has been released from the hospital.
