There’s good news in Cleveland after a scary incident at training camp practice.

Offensive lineman Ryan Miller, who was taken from the field by ambulance, has a concussion, the team announced on Saturday night.  While concussions are significant injuries (even if “mild”), news of the incident prompted concerns that Miller may have suffered a serious neck injury.

According to the Browns, Miller is resting comfortably at the hospital and likely will be released tonight.

Under league protocol, Miller will be unable to practice or play in any preseason or regular-season games until he has been cleared by an independent neurologist.

UPDATE 8:49 p.m. ET:  The Browns have advised PFT that Miller has been released from the hospital.

That’s good. It looks like he can bend a thick steel pipe too.

Hope this guy is alright. I got kind of creeped out when they wouldn’t disclose his name and said he was rushed to the hospital. Good thing to know he’s been released.

Man, you have to feel for this guy. He and his family had the scare of a lifetime tonight, thank god it wasn’t something that left him permanently disabled. Here’s to a speedy recovery from the concussion.

Unfortunately while recovering from his concussion he caught staph at the Cleveland Clinic and has to have his legs amputated.
