The Broncos need a new starting center after the torn ACL suffered by Dan Koppen. The guy who’s getting the first crack at having Peyton Manning’s hands in his is Manny Ramirez.
According to the Denver Post, Ramirez worked with Manning at practice on Monday. The seventh-year pro made 11 starts at right guard last year for the Broncos.
C.J. Davis worked as the backup center, giving snaps to Brock Osweiler.
Newcomer Steve Vallos, who passed his physical and joined the team, practiced at center during positional drills.
