PFT on NBCSN: Live from Eagles and Chiefs camps

AP

The Chiefs and Eagles both decided to part ways with their head coaches from 2012 this offseason and Philly’s decision wound up leading to Andy Reid landing in Kansas City.

That makes them a natural combination to share the spotlight on Monday’s edition of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN as we pay visits to both camps. With the Chiefs, we’ll be looking at how quarterback Alex Smith is adapting to his new surroundings after the offseason trade away from the 49ers and whether the Chiefs can rebound all the way from two wins to playoff contention in Reid’s first season.

Chip Kelly’s arrival as coach in Philly has elicited many opinions, although no one can really know what to make of the former Oregon coach until we see how his schemes translate from college to the pros. That doesn’t mean we can’t try to glean something from watching the team practice and we’ll also be talking about how the Eagles will replace wide receiver Jeremy Maclin in the offense.

Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison will also be on hand to talk about last year’s impressive rookie class of quarterbacks and how they’ll fare in their second seasons.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
