APGuard Ryan Jensen overcame some long odds when he got drafted in the sixth round after completing his career at Colorado State-Pueblo, a school that has produced only two non-replacement players that have played in an NFL game.
Jensen’s chances of adding a third name to the list in 2013 have taken a hit, however. Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that Jensen broke his foot late last week. He’s scheduled to have surgery soon and is expected to be sidelined for roughly 10 weeks as a result.
While that timeline would put Jensen on track to return with a fair amount of time left in the regular season if he was put on injured reserve with the ability to reserve, it’s hard to imagine the Ravens using that option on a player who might not have wound up on their two-deep depth chart. Without training camp to make his case and the possibility that the Ravens will need to use their injured reserve return spot for a different player, there’s a good chance that Jensen’s return to the field will come some time next year.
Tough break for the kid, but he wasn’t going to beat out Gradkowski AND Shipley at center. Wish him a problem free recovery.
He would probably be a starter on the Steelers depleted offensive line
just reporting on every injury around the league i guess?

Are people that obsessed with the Steelers that they have to make a comment about them on every story even if it has nothing to do with the Steelers?
Besides, where do you get your information from. The entire Steelers offensive line, which is the youngest in the NFL, is completely healthy and far from depleted.
Pittsburgh Steelers 2012 offensive line stats-
Sacks given up: 41 (23rd in NFL)
QB Hits given up: 87 (25th in NFL
It’s true, the Steeler’s offensive line is still depleted
That sucks. Here’s to hoping he gets another chance some day.
6 to 2…… I hear jamarcus is coming to the ravens?
The hits keep on coming. YOur “Luck” has ran out, and Torrey Smith is your #1.
Sleep tight at night with that thought…
