With so many changes among the Patriots’ receiving corps, the team needs to get a big rookie year from second-round wideout Aaron Dobson.
But Dobson missed practice Tuesday with an injury, prompting concerns as to when he’ll be back.
Nick Underhill of MassLive.com reports that Dobson took a cleat to the ankle during Monday’s practice, prompting the team to hold him out of action on Tuesday. Underhill writes that Dobson was on the sidelines with a slight limp.
Per Underhill, Dobson will return to practice on Thursday. The Patriots are off Wednesday, pursuant to the rules of the 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The former Marshall receiver has has practice exclusively with the first-team offense during training camp.
