Dolphins pick Julius Pruitt out of workout

The Dolphins worked out some bigger names, but ultimately chose the one they knew the best.

A league source tells PFT that the Dolphins are signing wide receiver Julius Pruitt after working out some other wideouts today including Austin Collie.

He’s been in camp with the Dolphins each of the last three years, appearing in nine regular season games.

He’ll replace the injured Armon Binns on the roster, and his familiarity with the system should allow him keep things moving in practice.
