The phrase “second opinion” has assumed primary importance in a pair of NFL cities.
For the Seahawks, it could lead to surgery for receiver Percy Harvin. For the Bills, it has led to the absence of pass rusher Mario Williams.
Per a league source, Williams received a second opinion on his sore foot. For now, it does not appear to be a serious injury. However, Williams has been advised to rest the foot.
That’s good news as it relates to Williams’ health, but bad news as he prepares for the first year of Mike Pettine’s 3-4 defense.
