PFT on NBCSN: 49ers/Giants training camp updates

Colin Kaepernick, Frank Gore AP

The 49ers and the Giants have been the NFC champions in the last two seasons and they are both aiming to return to the Super Bowl this season, which makes them as good a pair as any for our training camp stops on Tuesday’s edition of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN.

We’ll check in with how the 49ers are dealing with the loss of wide receiver Michael Crabtree and take a look at how new arrivals like Anquan Boldin and Nnamdi Asomugha are integrating themselves into the team. When it comes to the Giants, the discussion will have to do with the health of defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and the progress being made by running back David Wilson heading into his second season.

In addition to the training camp updates, Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison will also be on hand to break down the read-option offense after an offseason that’s seen it be a hot topic all across the league.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Sorry to say my Giants have lost too much and aged everywhere else. We were weak in the secondary and did nothing to upgrade. Linebackers are so-so, and D-line was upgraded (?) with old Eagles rejects.

On the offensive side of the ball, Eli’s arm is shot, Hicks can’t stay healthy and Cruz is a one year wonder that we overpayed for. Two running backs that act like the football has cuddies and don’t want to keep hold of it.

Well, there’s always next year. Hopefully 2014 or even 2015 will be good to us. Have to keep the faith.

    Go Big Blue…

You know, making a fake username designed to look like another poster for the sole purpose of trolling all Giants news is incredibly lame. How sad it is that you lack anything better to do.

There is no way you are a Giants fan because you couldn’t be more incorrect with your rediculous statement. Our secondary has always been avg at best and we still manage to win 2 chips in 5 years. Our linebackers are gonna suprise people this year with their speed and ability to cover the middle (imo). As for Cruz….c’mon one year wonder…really, Stevie Wonder can see that he is a special player that will be great for years aslong as he stays healthy, our RB’s will be fast and strong and will hold onto the ball and how dare mention Elite Manning who is clearly in his prime. GET A NEW TEAM LOSER

    GO BLUE !!!
