The Broncos got another scare in practice today, as cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was hauled off on a cart.
According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, Rodgers-Cromartie suffered (only) a high ankle sprain.
While that would still keep him off the field for a bit, it’s not the big bad news such as they received on Dan Koppen, who tore his ACL earlier in camp.
High ankle sprains are typically multiple-week injuries, so the next question will be whether he’s able to return for the opener against the Ravens.
