Lions move on from Ricardo Silva

Silva

Lions safety Ricardo Silva worked on getting faster in the offseason. And now he’s quickly leaving the team.

The Lions have released Silva, according to Chris McCosky of the Detroit News. Silva started six games last season, his second in the NFL.

Also gone is defensive tackle Spencer Nealy.

Replacing them are safety Trevor Coston and defensive tackle Xavier Proctor.
