We’re wrapping up another week, bringing us closer to the start of the season and taking us through two more updates on what’s happening at training camps around the league.

The Jets will be one of the teams up for discussion on Friday and there’s sure to be a fair amount of talk about their quarterback situation. Geno Smith and Mark Sanchez are dueling for the starting job and we’ll see who might be ahead in that race. We’ll also talk about the rest of the unimpressive looking offense and take the temperature on the hot seat under Rex Ryan.

We’ll also be checking in on the Redskins, who have a different question to answer at quarterback. It involves the health of Robert Griffin III’s knee and, to this point, all reports have been positive as Griffin goes through practice with the team. Griffin’s not the only player returning from injury for the defending NFC East champs, so we’ll also run through what’s going on with linebacker Brian Orakpo and tight end Fred Davis when the Redskins are on the table.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
